Revisiting a Pre-Loved Methodology

Notes

Back at the turn of the century (yes really) I developed the Carousel methodology. Now it’s time to add a Co-creation twist…

Ok, this takes a bit of concentration…So, you invite 3 different sets of participant respondents, and you have 3 different top-end moderators, and each of the 3 groups rotates through 3 different related group discussions on the same night. It’s a fab way of doing NPD in an accelerated fashion (for example).

So it would be easy to do this Co-creation style – client participants could either rotate with a respondent group or stay with one research topic and participate with different groups on the same topic…

I would recommend, as part of the process, a follow-up workshop with the client group and researcher team to ‘download’ all the masses of data, and of course, the respondent participants could be re-contacted for their view on any outputs following Carousel Co-creation too
