I’ve been reading more about Cognitive Bias…If you read the article linked below, you’ll see there are some quick ways to test for cognitive bias (the author has devised a number of tests that are really quick to take). Theoretically, then, it is possible to recruit respondents on the basis of their predisposition for optimism/ pessimism.
Recruiting via these kinds of questions could lead to some interesting insights about how brands can tune in to particular personality types, or even help people to see things differently.
